Popular Tourist Attractions in Mysore City

St. Philomena’s Church

St. Philomena’s Church is a beautiful Cathedral, reminiscent of medieval architectural style.Stained glass windows and lofty towers make it an imposing structure. It is approximately 1 km from the main bus stand.

Timings: 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm

Ontikoppal Venkataramana Temple

On the way to K.R.S. (Krishna Raja Sagar), you come across an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Venkataramana in Ontikoppal or Gokulam, which is built similar to Thirumala Temple of Thirupathi.

The temple is open on all days and devotees flock to temple on Saturdays and special occasions. City buses/autos are frequently available to this place.

G.R.S. Fantasy Park

G.R.S. Fantasy Park is the only amusement cum Water Park, situated in the outskirts of Mysore City at Metagalli on the way to Brindavan Gardens.

Water games, amusement rides, kid’s pool and catering facilities & shopping are the main attractions in the 30-acres of the park. The place has now turned out to be a favourite of youth and kids.

Krishna Raja Sagar Dam and Brindavan Gardens

The Krishna Raja Sagar(KRS) Dam is located on the Kaveri River in Mandya District. It is very close to the historical town of Srirangapatna and the Mysore city.
