Murudeshwar is close to the towns of Honnavar and Bhatkal. It is easily accessible by road from Karwar, Mangalore, Udupi, Manipal and Bangalore. If you are coming by train there is not direct train. You can alight at Karwar and take a bus or a cab to reach here. From Bangalore, Murudeshwar is about 450 Kms. 

By Road 

Murudeshwar lies between the towns of Honnavar and Bhatkal on the NH-17 National Highway. There are directions on the Highway (a big arch) which guide you to Murudeshwar.From Bangalore (Bengaluru) one can take the NH-206 to reach Honnavar and then take NH-17 to reach Murudeshwar. There are regular bus services from other cities such as Bhatkal, Honnavar, Gokarna and Karwar. 

Direct Buses are also available from major cities in Karnataka such as Mangalore, Bangalore and Hubli. Check www.redbus.in for online booking. 

By Train

Murudeshwar station lies on the Konkan Railway. A few slow trains from Mumbai and Mangalore stop here. There are no direct trains from Bangalore (Bengaluru). Alternatively, one can alight at Bhatkal station and catch a bus or a cab till here..

By Air

The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport, 165 km away. Hubli and Panaji (Goa) airports are other alternatives.
