Hubli is a major railway junction in North Karnataka. Many of the trains connecting South Indian destinations to Western India (Mumbai, Goa etc) and Northern Indian destinatios pass through Hubli. It is also well connected by road to Bangalore and other destinations in the region. Hubli is about 450 Kms from Bangalore.

By Air

Hubli can be reach by air from Bangalore, Belgaum and Mumbai. Hubli Airport is 8 kms from the center of town. Deccan Airways and Kingfisher Airlines have regular schedules to this town.

By Train

Hubli is a major rail junction on the Bombay-Bangalore route and for trains to Bijapur and Hospet. You can change over here to go to Goa (Vasco da Gama), thus avoiding the need to change at Londa.

By Road

There are regular buses to Bangalore (9 hours) and Hospet (4 hours). Goa Kadamba Transport buses go to Goa daily.

There are also buses to Mumbai (15 hours), Mangalore (10 hours), Jog Falls, Gokarna, Mysore (10 hr), and Bijapur.

Across the KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) bus stand are private bus companies offering deluxe buses to Goa, Bangalore, Pune, Mangalore, Mumbai, and Bijapur. Hubli has a large and busy bus station. Buses to Panaji take 11 hours.
