Raja's seat is a place where the kings used to spend their evening time enjoying the natural beauty. It is more of a scenic viewpoint to see the hill ranges and also to view the sun set or rise. It is located inside Madikeri town in Coorg.

Raja's Seat You can see the beautiful hills and the valley below in clear perspective. Surrounding the Raja Seat is a beautiful garden with Toy Train facility for children.

You can go there in the evening to watch the sunset. It is usually crowded during the evenings and in the weekends (in the tourist season), so you can also go there early to enjoy the sunrise.  You can reach this place by auto/local transport.
