Port Blair has a small Zoo, which houses some of the species which are found nowhere in the world.

With over 200 species of animals, which includes the Nicobar Pigeon and the Andaman Pig. The salt-water crocodile-breeding program has been very successful and many crocodiles, which were bred here, are now left in wild around the mangrove forests.

Mini Zoo Situated at Haddo (Delanipur - Chatham road. Near the zoo is a museum maintained and run by the forest department.

This unusual museum displays decorative pieces made of famous woods like Padauk (which has both light, and dark colors are present in the same tree), Marble, Peauma, Gurjan, Satin Wood etc.
