Guided tours and sightseeing trips can be arranged through Pondicherry Tourism.

Money changing

There are number of nationalized and private banks in Pondicherry who accept Travllers Checks etc. 

Besides, many of the ATM machines do accept domestic/ international cards and dispense local currency.
