Panaji

Panaji is the capital city of the smallest state in India, Goa. It became the capital of Goa in 1843 after Old Goa (which was the previous capital).

It is the third largest city in Goa, after Vasco Da Gama and Margao. Panaji can be used as a base on your holiday to Goa. With a pleasant environment, Panaji is a must see in your tour of Goa.

 

The annual Goa carnival is held in Panaji where beautiful floats and colorful processions take place in the streets of Panjim.
