Kaveri Nisarga Dhama is located near Kushalanagar, in Coorg district. Nisarga Dhama is place where the river Kaveri forks and rejoins to create a small island with bamboo forest. It is about 30Kms from Coorg and about an hour's driver from there. 

The place is filled with thick foliage of Bamboo plants and other trees around the river which creates the impression of a mini-forest. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge.

It is a tourist spot, where the river Cauvery flows with shallow water encircling the island. It is also a wild life sanctuary of its own kind. There is the deer-rabbit-peacock park, the children's park and the orchidarium in the resort.

Tourists are allowed to get into water at a few shallow and safe points along the river. Elephant rides and boating are some of the other attractions. It also has a forest department run guest house and treetop bamboo cottages.
