Mangalore's Weather can be described as  - too Sunny or too Rainy. Since Mangalore lies in the coastal belt of Karnataka, the climate is tropical and humid. During the rainy months between May and October, the city witnesses heavy rains. Mangalore's climate is influenced by the Arabian Sea and the South Western Monsoon (which first strikes Kerala)

Summer: March to May - Temperatures go as high as 38* celsius.

Rainy: May to October - Rains are usually heavy during this period. Temperatures range between a low of 20* celsius to a high of 34* celsius.

Winter / Spring: December to January - Temperatures vary from 19* celsius to a high of 30* celsius.
