is located about 80 Kms from Karwar (the headquarters of North Canara district) and about 45 Kms from Sirsi. It is off a small town called Yellapur, on the Hubli - Ankola- Karwar highway.
From Bangalore, the place is about 500 Kms. You can camp at Karwar or Sirsi to reach this place.

The Waterfalls fall from from a height of about 650 feet carrying the waters of the Bedthi river. This scenic spot is largely unexplored thanks to tourists flocking other popular destinations in and around Karwar.
The Falls carries a lot of water even during the summer months and is a must-see if you like adventure and nature-travel.
Yellapur is the nearest spot for refilling fuel, having a snack and refreshing yourself. Before Yellapur, you will have to make a right turn on the Hubli - Karwar highway.
The drive to this place is scenic and is a photographer's delight. On the way to Magd Falls, you will find a serene lake called Kavade Kere.
Yellara Gadde is the village enroute and the friendly people will help you in case you are lost or need a guide.

Lalguli Falls: Lalguli Falls are located about 15km north of Yellapur. Here, the river Kali creates a grand spectacle by tumbling from a height of approximately 250 feet in a series of picturesque rapids set at varying heights.
The Malemane Falls are also nearby Yellapur and you can explore this by yourself as hardly any tourists know about this place.
