Karnataka Waterfalls

Karnataka is famous for its waterfalls. Jog falls in Shimoga district is the highest cascading waterfall in India and is one of the highest in Asia. Shimoga district itsef is known for the other highest waterfalls like the Kunchikal falls.

Besides, in destinations across the Western Ghats, you can find smaller and lesser known falls.

In fact, the waterfalls of Karnataka and Kudremukh National Park are listed as important places and one among the 1001 natural wonders of the world!
