Goa is known by people all around the world for its beaches. Though Goa is the smallest state in India, it covers a coastline of more than 100 Kms.

All along its coast you can find numerous beaches, some which are popular and crowded and some hidden to be explored. Whether you want to enjoy the party atmosphere, laze around in the sand or explore calm beaches, there are many options for you.

There are many popular beaches here which became famous during the 1970s Hippie movement. Many Westerners arrived at this place and made Goa their home.

However there are many other beaches that are not yet spoilt by commercialization. North Goa has majority of the beaches and has the most famous ones too like the Calangute beach, Anjuna Beach and Baga beach.
