Fun World

Fun World is one of Bangalore's oldest and perhaps its first amusement park (since 1994). It continues to attract huge crowds on weekends and on holidays.

Located inside Palace Grounds, it is easily accessible by bus, auto, car or bike. Some attractions in Fun World are:

Thrill Rides: There is a Tora Tora (roller coaster) which will make you bones shatter, a 'Columbus' - a ship which sways high, an ejector - where you site in a rounded compartment fixed to a tower and you are launched into the air along the tower and more. It also has joy rides for kids, rides for families and regulars such as Giant Wheel and Dashing Cars.

Water World: Water World has a number of slides which are similar in thrill to the dry rides.

Star City: There is a gaming arcade where you can try your hand at video game consoles, and other casino-type games mainly for kids but adults will enjoy it too. There is also a bowling alley where many visitors (especially teens and 20 some-things) head to for a game of 10-pins.

Go-Karting: You can also try your driving skills as you maneuver thrrough straights and chicanes.

Fun World is a must-visit place if you'd like to have some fun in a carnival atmosphere. There are a lot of food-stalls and food courts, but be cautious if your are sensitive to oily or spicy food. Make sure to taste the huge Appalam or Papad along with Chilli powder and also the Chilli Bajjis.
