Corbyn's Cove is the closest beach to Port Blair (abut 8 kilometers). It is a white-sand beach surrounded by palm trees.

The water is warm and the surf mild. A trip by taxi costs about Rs. 50. Taxis also wait at the beach for return trips to Port Blair.

It is a nice walk from Port Blair to Corbyn's Cove. Andaman Beach Resort is a high-end hotel located near the beach and one can take some time off.

One of the most picturesque sea-beaches, it is ideal for sea bathing and sun-basking. The Waves Restaurant, The Peerless Resort nearby and the Hornbill Nest Guest House are at a stone's throw, provide a kaleidoscopic view of the blue water front.
