Popular Sights to see in and around Coorg / Kodagu / Madikeri

Harangi Dam, Kushalanagar 

Harangi Dam is a huge dam with a span of 2500 meters across Cauvery. This is located close to Kushalanagar and is a popular tourist spot.

Chettalli Research Farm

The Farm is on the Madikeri-Siddapur road about 24 kms from Madikeri. There is an agro research center here. Fruits and vegetables are grown in a scientific way. The farm is spread over an area of about 170 acres.

Iggutappa Devara Betta  

Iggutappa Devara Betta is situated near Ayyangeri forest in “Padithara Valley”. There is a temple on the peak, which are a pilgrimage center and a holy place for both Kodavas and Hindus. The deity Lord Subramanya is called as “Iggutappa” by the Kodavas. 

Samadhi(tomb) of Kings, Coorg

To the north of Mahadevpet in Madikeri city, there is a mount of mud having Samadhi of Kings.

Bylakuppe is the location of a Tibetan settlement and Tibetian monasteries. It is located in Kushalnagar in Mysore district. It is about a half an hour's drive from Coorg.
