Uninhabited Island group of Bangaram

There are three uninhabited islands in the same atoll - Tinnakara, Paroli-I, and Paroli-II. All the islands share the same lagoon, an enormous bowl of turquoise blue. The warm, clear and deep waters of the Indian Ocean pose an irresistible invitation to scuba divers.

Blue Magic at Night

The resort on these two small islands of Thinnakara and Parali also lie close to Bangaram enclosed by the same lagoon. During the night, phosphorescent plankton (a type of microscopic underwater species that glow) gets washed ashore on the coral sands which give the beach a bluish glow.

Activities at Bangaram Island

Professional Scuba Diving is organized by the Lakshadweep Tourism department. Snorkeling is also a popular activity here as you go on a underwater tour and see colorful creatures that live below the sea amidst the abundant coral reef.

Other activities include Kayaking, rafting, catamaran sailing, wind-surfing or just starting at the sea dance to the tunes of the wind as you laze in the white beaches here.

Get in touch with the Lakshadweep tourism department or you can contact Bangaram Island Resort guys as they also arrange for activities when you are there.
