Remember these warnings before you travel to Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh is safe in cities like Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam, Tirumala-Tirupathi, etc., but risk prone in some areas of the Telengana and in the interiors of the state. 

The Peoples' War Group (PWG), a Marxist organisation has been actively targeting government officials.

The PWG rarely targets tourists, but ‘bandhs' and picketing sponsored by it might affect your travel plans. So, do exercise basic precaution wherever you may be.
