Dasara Golu - Doll Festival

During Navarathri or Dassera, houses in Mysore and other traditional regions of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu arrange dolls in wooden or iron stairs made especially for this occasion. The dolls signify characters from Hindu scriptures. This is carried out for 9 nights.
